Analyze your resolution based on the question and answer sessions. What are the weaknesses in your resolution? Where can you strengthen your argument. Perform a self-edit and peer-edits.

Resolution Practice and Defense

Review Parliamentary Procedure and the expectations of the Model. Each group will present their Resolution to the class. Students are required to ask and field questions.

Choose a General Assembly Resolution related to your agenda topic. Print, read, and annotate. Compose an abstract.

Agenda Topic Essay

Choose an agenda topic from your committee, research it, and compose a 1000 word essay. This essay will build your knowledge of the subject on which you will write your resolution. Talk with your fellow committee member on which topic you would like to cover. Each student must compose their own essay, however, partners must use the same topic. Provide citations.
